Avoiding poor PR writing for your company

It's been announced this morning that David Cameron will make a statement saying that "Britain is back open for business".

This sloppy type of PR writing has not only let down the Prime Minister but is exactly what you should avoid with your business.

By saying that Britain is "back open for business" then surely he's admitting the country has been closed for business. It leaves Cameron wide open for some awkward questioning by journalists, for example:
- "Prime Minister, are you saying the country has been closed for business?"
- "Mr Cameron, you've been Prime Minister for two years now, why have you allowed the country to be closed for business this long?"

Of course, this is not the Prime Minister's fault, but demonstrates well the minefield when using inexperienced writers to promote your message.

Our message for today: Don't let this happen to your business!
